On a path that seems inevitable, the power of electrified mobility is beginning to take consistent steps in one of the most critical and challenging sectors in terms of decarbonisation: aviation.

It was discovered in 1817 by the Swedish chemist Johan August Arfwedson, but it is in the 21st century that lithium is demonstrating its full potential.

By the end of 2023, more than 14 million electric cars (EVs) should have been sold worldwide, which means that one in five cars sold will be electric.
